Virtual Flower Show
 The
Virtual Flower Show organised by Carrickfergus in Bloom is an opportunity for
Carrickfergus Borough residents to show off their photographic and gardening
skills - the 2008 competition is now open. The Virtual Flower Show is a web based competition with a £450
prize fund that encourages people to submit to this website a favourite photograph
taken during the last year, which fits one of the classes below before 21st
August 2008:

 To enter the Virtual Flower Show organised by Carrickfergus in Bloom visit www.virtualflowershow.org.
Prizes: First Prize in each category will be £50 in vouchers and the runner-up will receive £25 in vouchers. The Total Prize fund will be £450 in vouchers.
Judging is by popular vote from members of the public. Votes will be cast electronically via this website from 23rd August to 20th September 2008. Competition rules apply for all categories for details see rules below.

Carrickfergus Borough Council developed the Carrickfergus in Bloom initiative to brighten up the Borough, to become a Borough of Flowers. Our objective is to make a Brighter Borough for the benefit of all citizens and visitors. The Carrickfergus in Bloom initiative includes the towns of Carrickfergus, Whitehead, Eden and Greenisland.
