Virtual Flower Show
The Virtual Flower Show organised by Carrickfergus in Bloom is an opportunity for Carrickfergus Borough residents to show off their photographic and gardening skills - the 2011 competition is now closed. To view the 2011 winners click here.
The 2012 competition will start in May 2012. and voting starts on 21st August and ended on 20th September.
The Virtual Flower Show is a web based competition with a £450 prize fund that encourages people to submit to this website a favourite photograph taken during the last year, which fits one of the classes below before 21st August:
My Garden
My Favourite Outdoor Plant
My Favourite Indoor Plant
My Favourite Landscape or Garden Setting
Flowers in their natural, wild setting
Flowers with pets or other animals
To enter and Vote for the Virtual Flower Show organised by Carrickfergus in Bloom visit www.virtualflowershow.org.
Prizes: First Prize in each category will be £50 in vouchers and the runner-up will receive £25 in vouchers. The Total Prize fund will be £450 in vouchers.
Judging is by popular vote from members of the public. Votes will be cast electronically via this website from 23rd August to 20th September. Competition rules apply for all categories for details see rules below.
